So I changed that.</p> <p>And it was apparently getting called more than once in certain get_excerpt() situations like searches, so I had to filter out the repeated text.</p> <p>And it wasn't getting handled well with add_filter set to 1, so I removed that parameter. In my archive-Template I use the_excerpt and normally the manually written excerpt is shown here per post. With your newest plugin activated that excerpt is shown TWICE and then trimmed to a specific amount of words I guess. I had to delete the line add_filter('get_the_excerpt', 'add_series_meta_excerpt',1); in the orgSeries.php to make everything work again. Maybe you can take a look at that? </p>
