I installed and activated the plugin tonight and it did the same thing to me. Afterward, no matter what link I selected, it took me to the Home Page. (Actually, the only exception was the Dashboard link, which worked properly.) Like the others, I deactivated and deleted the Organize Series plugins and the problem remained. When I tried the "/series" fix in the Custom Fields, everything worked again. I never had to refresh my permalinks. I am very glad to be able to use this plugin. I used it before and I love it. I am using WP 3.0 with the Atahualpa 3.5.1 theme and now they're working well with this plugin. (i.e. rename to wp-content/pluginsold )</p> <p>If your website loads up you can then rename the directory back to "plugins" and visit your admin page for plugins and reactivate the ones that you need.</p> <p>I HIGHLY doubt that Organize Series caused this as there are hundreds of people using it with no problems. I am also using WP 2.8.5.</p> <p>After I activated the plugin, I went to test it. I found a post that was part of a series but it didn't have any of the series info on it like it used to. It just looked like a normal, stand-alone post.</p> <p>I went back to the settings and looked things over but did NOT change anything. When I went back to my site and tried to click on my "Post Index" page, I got a "Not Found" message within my blog. In fact, no matter what I clicked on, everything outside of the main home page was now showing as "Not Found." The odd thing was that it was not my normal 404 page template.</p> <p>If I deactivate the plugin, then no matter what I click on, the site remains on the home page. The URLs will change to my permalinks, but the site appears to just refresh to the main home page.</p> <p>Both scenarios tell me that it's the plug in. I need to get this taken care of since the plugin has definitely changed something and I can't get it back to where it was.</p> <p>Also, all my existing series appear fine in the Posts menu.
