Cannot save series icon - no permission to access orgSeries-manage.php

Hello, first of all thanks for this great plugin :)

Wordpress-Version: 2.8.5
Plugin-Version: 2.1.6

My problem: i'm not able to save an assigned series icon. Upload path is correct (i read all information about that, tried all options e.g. upload categorised in months unchecked and so on), the icon is recognized, but when trying to save, i get this error message:

"You don't have permission to access /wp-content/plugins/organize-series/orgSeries-manage.php on this server."

I tried to save without an icon, no problem there. I reinstalled the plugin several times, checked the file rights of files and dirs. Everything seems to be okay. No problem with normal image upload outside the plugin.

Any idea how i can solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

That is a weird problem. Let me try to see if I can reproduce and I'll get back to you. A quick question: What role are you as the user set at? (i.e. administrator or editor)
Second: Do you have the Organize Series Publisher plugin activated as well?

Thanks for your answer :)

I am logged in as admin, and the publisher plugin is not activated. I also tried several plugins for solving problems like this, for example the ajax-referer fix. Problem is still there.

I'm unable to reproduce this. Are you using any other plugins that integrate with the built in image uploader? It may be that there is a conflict with another plugin...

I don't use lots of plugins at all and none for image uploading. I deactivated all of them (for example TinyMCE Advanced, Audioplayer, Theme my Login), but it didn't help.

The image upload itself is no problem - the image is uploaded, i can see it, the path is correct (also in your plugin ui). I also tried to use an image out of the wordpress media gallery, and it is displayed correctly. Just saving is not possible.
