Read both these books while on the airplane on my recent trip to Zimbabwe. I’ve seen the movie for Eragon and the book is nothing like the movie. In fact after reading the book, the movie is but a poor recreation of the story.
Paolini weaves a good tale albeit writes very simply. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the preparation behind the story as there is obvious depth in the history of the various races and characters in the story.
This is another classic good vs. evil story.
